I am concerned with Donald's tweets about deportations this week.
I don't know about you, but I believe due process is rather important. If we start deporting people without a trial, we have nothing but the word of ICE and the White House that those people even broke the law in the first place.
America is supposed to have a balance of power, the executive branch cannot be allowed to operate without judicial over site.

Constitutionaly, the president has unfettered control over who is allowed into the country without the need for oversight. To do otherwise would require an amendment. Thats what the recent SCOTUS rulling was all about.

I don't think they ever expected to get this far, I think they expected Trump to fire Mueller 6 months ago and things like the Cohen raid were provocations to that end. At this point though the winds have clearly turned on the Mueller probe, the IG report, the rampant leaks and poor behavior from the team, and the ongoing bad acts by Democrats have pretty much killed any goodwill Sessions and Mueller might have had from Republican rank and file. The GOPe cannot really stick up for Mueller without hurting itself badly, it would be the primaries and the implosion of the NeverTrumpers all over again.
What we're really waiting for is the spark that lets Trump set it all off, I'm hoping eventually one of these Rosenstein deadlines will be it.
Not worth the shit storm that will ensue before midterms. Both sides are waiting to see how Nov shakes out. Mueller will release a report if Dems take the house so they can IMPEACH FOFI, and Mueller will “continue investigating” if Republicans retain the house. At that point, Trump can fire Sessions, Rosenstein, and Mueller... Let’s hope we retain the house. Everything hangs on that.
