>Every day new poll showing Right is stronger and stronger >Left constantly saying the elections are looking to be slanted just enough in the rights favor >Unpredictable things like Millenials, Gen Z, Blacks, and Hispanics supposedly moving right in media reports >Rights getting smug and arrogant about "all the winning" and the supposed death of the democratic party
This seems like some 4D chess to trick the right into low voter turnout in the face of extremely invigorated defeated leftists fighting with the last breath of a cornered animal. Considering that the exact opposite was the medias doing back in 2016 (all outlets en masse conveying that trump had no chance) I am inclined to believe that this is just the opposite meant to give their own sides a fighting chance by lowering the rights guard.
How do we start buying the hype and reinvigorate our side for the fight? The last thing we want going into this midterm is low turnout to get fucked like that Dem who didn't even bother campaigning or debating and lost to Ocasio just because he felt he was in the lead by polls and assumed sentiment.
We need to get Jow Forums fighting for this mid-term on the same level as we did 2016.
Shifting the window might be an interesting strategy, if your side is winning it's no longer a desperate struggle just to get over the line, people aren't dragging themselves to the polling booths to get that wafer thin majority to stop the rot they perceive. Instead they are going out to get that supermajority, wherever that line is in America that ensures your side can pass laws and legislation with very little real opposition.
"Yeah we're doing well enough to scrape a majority but if we got a supermajority we could see some real change."
If the media wants to change the baseline I don't see a way to change it back but there are other categories than just the baseline. The key is to find a way to make people excited about a major victory the same way they're excited about narrowly avoiding defeat. If people really wanted change they would be salivating at the chance of a supermajority.
This has a chance of backfiring though, if enough people don't embrace the idea of winning rather than avoiding defeat any actual edge in the polls might turn in to a shocking defeat if people don't actually vote.
I think the best way to package it would be to say "we don't know if the polls are accurate or not, we don't know if we even have a chance at a supermajority, we don't even know if we're going to get over the line for a majority, but if there's a chance and you genuinely want it to happen, get out there and vote."

It's a legit concern
I live in conservative texas and a California cunt progressive just won a local seat running on a platform of building free homes for nigger criminals and solar power
Because no one bothered turning up the #resistance won by a few votes
Blake Jackson
Where at?
Texas should be of the biggest concern, but the Left is seriously subverting people into not going to the polls with this shit.
Chase Morgan
Left has lost a lot of clout but that are going down kicking and screaming.
They might actually be able to push back in desperation. This is no laughing matter

Too much of a good thing is a bad thing. If Jow Forums doesn't stop being smug shots because the left is getting extreme then this will be egg on their face and the blue wave will be a reality
Zachary Stewart
Ironically, if the blue wave happens we will drown in useless niggers.
Jose Martin
whats worse is that there won't be another chance.
The greatest generation and Boomers are dying off left and right, and soon the progressive post-vietnam voters will make up the kings cut of the larger elderly vote.
If we fuck up before too long we'll go full europe
Imagine running on building secrion 8 housing, raising taxes and a city wide gun ban in Texas, and winning
California refugees are destroying this state

TIL America is a direct democracy wow thanks user

how the fuck are they gonna ban guns in Texas?! Especially after that story just yesterday of the woman gunning down the dude trying to steal her kids right out of her car.
