When they apply for a Professional Engineering license here, and the Board asks for their academic qualifications, they're often disqualified right out of the box, on that basis alone, let alone all of the other requirements for attaining a license. You should always assume the worst with such types, unless they've graduated from an accredited institution outside their home country.
