The problem with Psychology is that certain subfields within the field itself is kind of bullshit, yet others are supported by biology (Hormones) and Neuroscience.

Neuroscience is a VERY REAL and FAR MORE COMPLICATED field than simple “Psychology”. It deals in the physical, chemical, and overall OBSERVABLE changes in the body and how that can effect the PSYCHOLOGY of a person.

PSYCHOLOGY, in of itself, is simply the study of the mind. There are many aspects, Neurological, instinctual, Behavioural, genes & memes (Yes, MEMES - as defined by Richard Dawkin). There are many aspects to PSYCHOLOGY.

My biggest problem with viewing it as a science is that most studies lack repeatability. If it has repeatable results though and a p value under .05 then it's a legit study. The vast majority of psychological studies don't even include heavy statistical analysis because the p values would prove the findings weren't significant.

OK, so what? Maybe IQ testing isn't accurate, but you still can't deny that without psychology, we wouldn't know half of what we do now. Also at least now we know memory, reasoning, and verbal skills contribute to intelligence which we wouldn't have known without the IQ testing building a foundation for it.

My psychology degree is a bachelor of the arts and not a bachelor of science. I learned the hard way that psychology is a junk science. One of my professors even warned me not to pursue psychology as a graduate student because it will be a dead filed by the middle of the century due to advancements in neuroscience. Many students he told this to (psych students are nearly all women) got angry when he said this. Many made it a point to find him years later after getting a masters in psych to tell him he was right.

Also, psychology was founded by the Jews and is largely controlled by them today. A boomer I knew from the field talked about how she and her dad (a psych professor) had gone to all sorts of conferences in the Soviet Union. Communist exploit it for a reason, the only method of deciding what is wrong with you is observation and educated guesses.

A different woman boomer professor of mine talked about how when she left the Midwest to practice clinically in Oregon how shocked she was by the shrinks out there. Most of them will openly say that psychology is an art and not a science. During clinical psychology training my professor told us how having the same three symptoms which almost everyone has can get someone virtually any diagnosis in the DSM.
