if we don't nuke each other, I think we could go to Star Trek level of advancement

but that's if we DON'T nuke each other..

Quite a ways.

Depends if the Fermi Filter is behind or in front of us

>peak
yea unironically
with a bit of luck aumented will become real
but thats pretty much it for the avarage individual
CERN was an utter failure
fusion >may< be made real by 2030/2050

it will be another century by the time something new happens

Sooooo, I should start practicing rubbing stick together?

Do you even recognize how exponential development has become? We've had civilization for 10 000 years and everything has been exploding for 30 years. Gonna be much faster than you think

impossible

it s gonna slow down. niggers invading 1st world countries are basicly reducing our IQ by several points. it s a grim future .

Not even close.
Only 20% of the Graduates in America are in STEM careers.

>humanity
European technological advancement is over. The brown humanoids that will inhabit this planet after we are all dead might reach the bronze age in a couple thousand years.

technically we're at the peak now.

theguardian.com/football/2018/jul/06/croatia-world-cup-success-divides-nation

Journalist upset that center-right Croatian president Milkers trying to tie nationalism to their world cup's teams success. That it divides the nation.

All I can say is that it's afraid.

Also anyone notice that all lefty news sites don't have comment sections?

this

that are basically circlejercking

The Large Hadron Collider will be torn apart for scrap by half starving African mobs.

They will hack apart million dollar equipment to get at viscous fluid so they can deep fry roadkill.

>During the early 2000s, the international scene was deteriorating as well. The United Nations had been reorganized as the New United Nations. (TNG: "Encounter at Farpoint") A number of nations joined together in a union known as the Eastern Coalition. Hostilities between the Eastern Coalition and forces including the United States broke out in 2026 as World War III. The conflict soon escalated into full-blown nuclear holocaust, engulfing much of the globe and again nearly returning Human civilization to a dark age. 600 million people died across the planet as a result. The subsequent collapse of the global economy, political systems, and the drastic environmental effects of the war devastated those nations which had escaped direct nuclear attack. (Star Trek: First Contact; VOY: "In the Flesh"; ENT: "In A Mirror Darkly" production art)

Star trek killed most of the undesirables before achieving ftl warp drive, WITH NUCLEAR WAR.

You ain't seen nothing yet

o

Depends on whether we can reach the singularity and pass the torch of innovation to the machines. If Europe and the US fail, Asia won't.

The limit is the limit. As long as we don’t get bogged down in scientific dogma, there’s no telling what can be achieved.

No but progress isn't going to happen as quickly as it did in the 20th century. I wouldn't be surprised if we developed virtual reality with our entire reality based in VR with AI/robots producing energy and doing proper maintenance.

This. Unironically this.

>mfw Nuclear Armageddon is REQUIRED to advance out of this Hellworld and into Star Trek where we BELONG...

No way to know since we are likely the only intelligent life in the universe

The stars will belong to us.

Conflict is the greatest driver of innovation there is

The closer we move toward a world government/socialist utopia the more stagnant we will become
