Anyone here have a job as a programmer? Or more specifically, work in web development?

Is the industry as cancerous and left wing as it seems? Or is that just in shitholes like San Fran or Austin (I dont live in either)?

I'm looking for a career change but if I ended up working around self loathing leftists i'd go postal within a matter of months.

idk i work in Portland but I don't interact with people.
I just show up and work on whatever im assigned that day and leave.

Web developer here - 11.5 years experience and master's degree.
I work on the east coast, and although more often than not my colleagues are liberals, there are still plenty of redpilled folks working in the industry.
Also people avoid talking politics at work for the most part. This isn't the kind of shit idiots with degrees in the humanities end up doing - we're here to do a job and get shit done, not whine about fake news bullshit.

Kaiden? We have to talk about the smell. Some of your coworkers have complained about body odor in your department.

Backend developer for ecommerce
Life is very good because the industry is so lucrative

Yes

If you keep acting this way you will get labeled as a incel.

Diversity is great for web development. It allows your team to design and code in a way so that the final product is inclusive. If you want to be a Web developer you need to make sure you can accomodate all kinds of users, especially IE users and minorities. Diversity is everywhere and in every job, if you cannot embrace it you are doomed to fail wherever it is that you work. You need yo get out of the /pol & mgtow echo chamber and embrace life and diversity.

everybody else at my office is at least neoliberal, I'm planning on switching to contract work to avoid interacting with them. It's irritating hearing them talk about faggots and trannies like they aren't mentally ill

whats your stack

I just got out of school learned C# java and shit but it feels like everyone just wants node and react these days

>It's irritating hearing them talk about faggots and trannies like they aren't mentally ill
Both clinton & obama were against gay marriage until the dnc strategists decided they should flip flop and the democrat minions just fucking all said “how high” when they told them to jump.

I do webapp Dev for Southwest airlines as a contractor, although I work more with restful services than full-stack websites.
It's not very bad working here. There are a lot of shitskins but they stay out of your way. The only things that bug me are the insufferable boomers that's infest this place and the occasional company-wide email about a brave transgendered or Muslim employee.

Does working in defense work mean more redpilled people? Though concerned posting here means I cant pass security clearance? (Even tho everything ive ever posted here is satire) No clue

I thought all you brown fuckers died in the hurricane?

Why do colleges put so much emphasis on Java and C?

React is neat and all but like its going to die eventually and be replaced by some other shit.

Dont you learn the shit on the left by using the shit on the right?

idk why i laughed at this

Used to be before I switched fields. I worked in SF so I had a very biased view but yeah it's a lot of soul sucking assholes along with some virtue signaling type assholes ("I'm with her but ew poor people smell bad go away").

Take the population, cull the worst of the left and move them a standard deviation to the right wing. Defence is is generally quite neutral but with a definitely middle of the road conservative vibe. This is about the UK though, probably more right wing in the USA.

yes, it's a tendency being followed everywhere around the world.

The other way around, you gotta learn the stuff on the left first. The stuff on the right just makes it easier to do the stuff on the left.

Example, adding a class in normal javascript is

if (el.classList)
el.classList.add(className);
else
el.className += ' ' + className;

but in jQuery its just
$(el).addClass(className);

Just makes shit easier to write.

Gee, its almost like to leftist filth being "seen" as a good person is more important than actually being one.

Is there a hiring bias in favor of shit skins and whamen for entry level positions?
