President Eisenhower, President Truman, Winston Churchill, and French President Charles De Gaulle all wrote extensive memoirs of World War II -- over 8,000 pages altogether -- and none of them mention any word of gas chambers, or anything at all about a German effort to systematically kill the Jews.

In 1986, Germany did a full accounting down the the last person, of every single person who died in a concentration camp under the 3rd Reich. They kept very accurate records and were able to cross check records to verify those that were lost or destroyed. Total: 177,000 and most of them died from disease or chronic illness or natural causes.
