It's pretty hard to verify this claim since Muslims don't allow people to look at their various ancient manuscripts unlike Christians. Since 2007 it's been dated to 800 AD, and the report on it says that it doesn't agree with todays Quran in over 2270 instances.

We know that it was written in kufic script meaning that its letters lack the diacritical marks (dots and squiggles) and vowelizations, meaning that nearly every other word in the most ancient Qurans would be extremely different than the Qurans you have today since it'd be completely lacking tense. Arabic was an oral-based language and these writing techniques wouldn't be created for centuries after the Quran was "revealed" which is exactly why there are over 30 different Arabic qurans that exist today that evolved from this early problem

If you do this, don't go the legal route and remove an important tool for the police to combat Islamists. The Americans all have neutered military hardware, no mortars, no grenades, no anti-tank guns. Why could Allah not correctly define the Trinity as Christians believe it anywhere in the Quran? He attacks it over and over but the one time he attempts to define it he gets it wrong. No, it wasn't written in the Qurashi dialect until well after Muhammads death, when Uthman was working on his rescetion. He commanded Zaid ibn Tabith to edit his original compilation in Hafsa's Quran in case there was any discrepancies. He then burnt all the copies his men had collected and he had ibn Masood beaten (to which he died) because Masood was criticizing him too much and refused to hand over his copy of the Quran (which was not identical to Uthman's copy)
