Here's a tool i've been working on Jow Forums.
Go nuts. (if the server goes down, Il'l host it on something more stable).
Basically you set a question, it polls opinions and marks them on a map.
In 10 mins the question resets, and anyone can set the next one.

Nice concept, you should change up the view so that its possible to make a screenshot of the question with the resulting map, this way it can be prime meme material on Jow Forums.

agreed with You should remove the massive spacing and make the visuals minimal. Very often you wanna make something visually appealing but it's not always necessary.
In pic related, i've removed the excessive padding, set the result as always visible, moved the number of answers inside the buttons themeselves. They should only be shown once you've voted to avoid subconsciscious willing to vote for the biggest number.

Something cool would be some button which downloads an image of the entire map with the question and number of answers altogether as well, instead of struggling with screenshoting the entire thing.

The location logging isnt great and Im not sure i can make it better without collecting too much data/requiring a login or something like that.
it's really not hard to map an IP. In fact, if you just used an outside for a reference on where the IPs should be placed, it would be much better

Please fix the geolocation. Whatever you do to lookup the city name should be able to grab the coordinates instead. Instead of going IP -> city name -> coordinates you should go IP -> coordinates + city name.
There are many, many cities around the world with the same name.

You could put a button on the website to allow people to give geolocation if they want and if it doesn't work for them. So like an extra if they think it would be better.
Either you make the name Jow Forums or Jow Forums exclusive or you make it topical of the website so to branch out and maybe one day go mainstream or some shit.
