I always lived by the notion that you should judge a person by their actions and character, not their skin color. Then I started being dismissed by other liberals because I was white. The trans issue got me too. One person's rights end where another person's begin. So it is an infringement on someone's rights to try and dictate the pronouns they use. Tolerance can be expected by acceptance can not be mandated.

I am anti interventionalism as well. I was as supporter of Obama initially. I wanted some change and hoped for a less war hawk like president. See how that turned out?
The final nail in the coffin was the 2016 presidential campaign. Conservatives spoke a lot about democratic elitism and and crooked tactics. I never saw it. It always sounded like faux news bullshit to me. But with the Hillary Clinton campaign, it was just too flagrant to not see it. The hardcore pushing of Hillary by the party. The disregard for the bases preferred candidate. The collusion with major media outlets. The fact they plotted to push Trump because they assumed he would be easier to beat. They are so corrupt it made me head spin.
