Working with some family that have many more years established here, they came before the happening. And well, I entered through land, the amount of people entering Colombia is abysmal. I'm in the middle ground regarding immigration. Neither fully closed borders, neither fully open (except certain cases for example when Venezuela and Colombia had better times together).

But Visa programs should always try to be fast and effective on delivering. So people don't have to rely on illegal methods.

US would benefit to have a faster visa program, so central americans don't gallop into there without proper papers (or the bare minimum).

If you have money saved up. Buy an a big freezer. Buy gas, buy a generator. Go out hunting if you can, kill a big animal. Have a butcher cut that shit up and prep it. Stock the freezer. Meat, meat more meat and veggies. Also get some big bags of rice and store them.
