Prices of manufactured goods would probably go up for us but our economy would be stronger since more people would be working and thus would have more buying power.

The problem with China is the low purchasing power of the consumers, Americans as a comparison have some of the highest purchasing power on Earth. Because of this and because we still have means of self growing food and manufacturing, we can sustain ourselves on our own resources and afford them because our purchasing power only increases as factories revive.

China on the otherhand can produce alot of product for cheap but their own people cannot afford these products. This causes a serious inbalance of supply and demand and its this scale that really works against the chinese and would send their country back 100 years economically.

They have only been doing western econokics for 70 years whereas the US has been doing it for hundreds of years. We have an overwhelming advantage when it comes to export trades and self reliance and because Trump is trying to push for it the other countries of the world are getting scared of the balance of trade power shifting back to the US
