What does rural America need help with?

Rural America makes the most money from oil and food production. Oil and food production are both related to population - the more population the more the demand rises for those things.

With food and oil production being a roughly fixed thing, just by ending nigger abortions we can help rural America by about 50%. The amount of corn chips and watermelon those fuckers eat is astonishing.

The purpose of maintaining a large production of food is in the event of a famine. We have plenty of ways to mitigate food rot via proper storage, hardy seeds that are more expensive, etc. It is not a famine is not a forgone conclusion in the modern world.

I live in rural Norway, and it's not really struggling. Rural areas are heavily subsidized here. I'm certainly not a proponent of socialism, but the "revenue system" between Norwegian counties and municipalities is actually quite well made.

This whole "debate" is fallacious. The rural areas in actuality subsidize urban areas in most states. How so? All the state taxes are levied into one fund, and a disproportionate amount is spent on urban areas. Wanna fancy new plaza? Sure. Want a service road used frequently by local industry repaired? Better wait five years for the county to accrue the funds on it's own, or hope that some company that uses it, is giving kickbacks to your district's congressman.

Rural American myself. Seems to me, the best thing to do is bring back the concept of community within small areas/townships. By your hardware from local shops, source your feed from local growers, focus on developing relationships with your neighbors. You'll not be rich by urban fag standards but you can get by. As far as I'm concerned, the lack of community is what has destroyed (rural) America as it used to be. Hopelessness breeds the meth and trouble.

I live in a fairly rural area as well. Most farmers( people that own darms) are doing o.k. it is the others that need help. I don't think there is much you can do to change their intellectual laziness.

Yeah we've got this little grocery store in town. Only grocery store unless you count dollar general but I always shop at it and usually between the deals and stuff I actually come out about even with what I would have spent driving further to go to walmart. It breaks my heart when I see these small businesses go under.

This is why I think my rural community is thiriving. Everyone is great here. We had a bad windstorm last winter, the power company cut out our power to prevent a fire, we didn’t have power for four days.

The coffee shop started giving out free coffee in their parking lot. Kids stopped by my house asking me if I need ice, water, fuel, telling me to visit their house if I need anything.

Because my town in unincorporated, we don’t get much government services, so when it snows, our roads don’t get cleared. I usually team up with my neighbor and clear the roads with our quads. People rush outside and offer coffee or money, I always refuse. I just do it because I love my neighbors and my community.

During the windstorm we lost some massive oak/pine trees, some were 100ft tall, blocking roads and driveways. Neighbors went around cutting up the trees and left the logs on the side of the road for neighbors to use as firewood.

I suggest you use the nextdoor app. People in my community are always offering fresh vegetables, fruits, eggs for free. They find/return missing dogs, offer free mulch, seeds, cuttings. They are very knowledgeable when it comes to homesteading.

The rurals are poor in the sense they have no money, which means they can't buy luxuries like suburban peoples can. Urban people while not actually owning anything, seem to have more, as welfare and other city benefits allow them to live lavishly. Suburban types have money but because of lack of capital they are wage slaves.

There are some very rich rurals, but many rurals are trying to compete with extremely efficient rurals, which is why many are "poor". On top of the fact rural areas get less welfare than urban areas. Yet the rurals can survive on their own. A farmer who sells apples to the grocery store at 10 cents per, while that store sells it to urban welfare recipients at 75 cents per is the reason why they stay poor. The suburbans that own the grocery store are making a killing, while the rurals are doing all the work getting little, while the urbans are getting free money to buy necessities.

If you want to be a self sufficient rural, don't expect to compete with the efficient rural families who have been doing it for years. If you want to be wealthy in regards to money that you can trade easily, it is better to live in the city for the ezmode life. If you live frugally and are lazy as fuck, become an inner city urban dweller. The necessities will be provided, and you won't be part of the suburban and rural economy games. All you have to hope for, is that the rural and suburban peoples pay their taxes that the welfare keeps coming in.
