Well that's too bad because people are more idealistic like that.

Good, that means they will have the money to meet NATO 4% minimums.

this is a GOOD thing

The number of American workers employed in the manufacturing sector rose in June to 12,713,000.
> a 9 1/2-year high.
That’s the largest number since December 2008, when manufacturing employment totaled 12,850,000 American workers.
“The monthly gain in manufacturing more than doubled the forecast,” Timothy Anderson, analyst at TJM Investments said. “The total number of people employed in manufacturing is the highest its been in 9 1/2 years.”
Manufacturing added a very solid 36,000 jobs, more than twice what economists had expected.
But the month of June hasn’t been an anomaly and it warrants mentioning that Trump Administration policies cannot be separated from this resurgence.
Citing the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) — the president’s signature piece of legislation and the first overhaul to the U.S. tax code in 31 years — a record 95.1% of manufacturers this quarter registered a positive outlook for their company.
>That’s the highest level ever in the 20-year history of the Manufacturers’ Outlook Survey.

"those jobs aren't coming back."

thanks, Obama.

Wait, you mean foreigners stopped buying single family residences?

fuck the world
were the one country that doesnt need anyone else

This. Every other country on the planet is inferior to us. We're simply better than everyone else.

>fewer foreigners own US assets
Good.

Do they mean the Chinese government has stopped buying up our businesses and real estate?
OH NO WHATEVER WILL WE DO, IF CHINA CAN'T ECONOMICALLY CONQUER THE USA WITHOUT EVER FIRING A SHOT

Most of that money is being spent by our allies.

Good. Foreigners and foreign capital out.

>The Lucky Dragon was funded with $60 million in loans from 120 Chinese families seeking a permanent green card through the EB-5 program.
>Under the program, foreign investors can receive permanent green cards if they invest $500,000 in at-risk projects that create 10 jobs.
>The Lucky Dragon investors face the prospects of losing their money and right to a green card if the project fails.

Someone would accuse you of being wrong and naive. They would be wrong. The united states does not lack a single resource. Let that sink in. Most nations are fairly small in comparison aside from a few like china or russia. Not a single nation but the USA has every single resource known to man within its borders and territories. Some nations have copper, some have heavy metals. They trade to get what they want. We don't have too. The us is the one nation that 100% isolated could not just survive but thrive.

They should ban non-citizens from purchasing homes in the US and driving up prices.
Or at least regulate it to where only say, 5% of the market in any given area can be purchased by foreigner, which will either force a cap or incentive building more homes and high-rises so that the market widens for foreign investment as well.
Any system that drastically reduces foreigners sky-rocketing prices for citizens, at least.

>Obama’s recession continues
Fixed it when it/if it happens

The concepts of comparative and absolute advantage still encourages foreign trade.

But that is wrong, your Boomers are dependant on imported Goodgoy Tokens from Israel.

Free trade should only exist within the border. All forms of foreign investing and importing should be controlled to an autistic degree. Prove me wrong.

Simpsons did it.
