I have a friend how is working for a telecommunications firm in Dublin. To cut a long story short, all messages and calls are stored for 6 months. Calls and messages they contain a word like bomb, terror, etc. are automatically flagged and stored in the system. Then the police can see all your dubious activities once they have your phone number.
