The entire point of the supreme court is to try and protect the original meaning of the constitution and the philosophical justifications behind its true purpose. Conservatives are generally better at doing this than liberals, as the left often tries to swing progressive nonsense into the courts that would have made our founding fathers puke.

The biggest and possibly only real issue I have with most conservative judges is that they are lacking in interpretation of the 4th. Too many of them tend to side with the state and unfortunately many of those cases you can't blame them these days.
