well, going by Trumps own words, I don‘t think he really knows what he signed with Kim, or he might just be wilfully ignorant about it, as what Trump had Kim sign was not a new Denuclearization Agreement, or a binding Denuclearization Agreement at all, but a written promise of honouring the Panmunjom Agreement signed in April, which was a non-binding declaration of faith to seek universal nuclear disarmament of the Peninsula.
That agreement however has no agreed timeframe, commitment, or even actual definition of denuclearization behind it, and when that was signed people still hoped the Trump-Kim meeting would sctually produce these additions, which they didn‘t.
It also didn‘t include a peace treaty, but the promise to seek the forming of a peace treaty, again without timeframe or actual commitment.
On top of that, neither the Panmunjom nor the Singapore Agreement has any international Signatories or an UN resolution behind it, which means if either of the signatories unilaterally exits the agreement, there is no international law violation.
In essence, thinking this will cause North Korea to disarm their nukes or sign any kind of peace treaty before the last US soldier has left South Korea is just naive and frankly a bit silly.
