I'm curious as to how anyone could possibly think this was the case given that the 1% is synonymous with media control and the establishment. Especially considering the pro amnesty crowd is the politically correct stance on the issue. There is absolutely no reason why the rich and powerful would be against a seemingly endless supply of labor so cheap that it's borderline slavery.
If revolutionary progressives like her were actually fighting the 1%, and actually a threat to their endeavors, then wouldn't they do everything in their power to slander them across every public venue they can get their hands on rather than encourage them?

This is simple misdirection that's meant to discourage people from thinking about this further. It's meant to lead people into thinking illegal aliens can never get their hands on a SSN. In reality, illegals invading the country has lead to a boom in identity theft. Just last year, there was one case where the IRS found out 1.4 million illegals were stealing benefits through stolen social security numbers.

Let’s say there are only 1000 jobs available at a location and you have one of two scenarios.

A) 1000 jobs but only 500 people.

B) 1000 jobs and 2000 people.

In A, they would have to offer more benefits and higher pay in order to compete.

In B, they can pay as low as possible with no benefits and no wage increases since there’s always a line of people they could hire to do the job.

That’s why I’m against immigration, period, legal or illegal.

Illegal Immigrants get plenty of welfare. There are several social programs in my state of California that will take whatever you write on paper at face value and never check. That means anyone can fill out a form and collect benefits from that program.
