You are incorrect about a civil war occurring. The U.S. military is currently deployed across the world. Soon, it won't be. It will be right here at home. We will have a strong, centralized government led by Trump and the Republicans and any attempt to secede would be instantly met with dominating force. A civil war is physically impossible, as the state that attempted to secede would be brought to heel almost instantly.
If you want to imagine that there will be rebel groups and mass-rioting, you aren't wrong, but in the end most of it will be put down and the only thing it will accomplish is further empowering the right, because many leftists will be locked up, given criminal records, or simply killed.

Everybody knows the world has been using the US as its defacto police, yet these same people can not imagine the magnitude that this belief goes. The success of the US and our culture has been convincing the world they need us. Convincing them otherwise is the problem. For the most part, it is about money. People are going to lose alot of money when the US starts to unwind its assets abroad. You will hear alot of protests from Europe, but they will find out its futile and unnecessary as the EU will start shifting its assets to Asia. Asia itself will have China and Japan to contend with each other. This can be sustainable and competitive as neither wants to destroy their economies.
