We need a different name for journalists...

We need a different name for journalists. Journalists today view themselves as going to warzones because tey write articles on transgender periods. They use the word journalist to invoke the historical legacy of real investigators and writers. We need to delegitimize the leftist arm of the media. The term needs to be innocent to provoke a slow change where the common apolitical man can adapt his vocabulary. It needs to be socially acceptable so that one day journalists themselves use it and hurt their own cause.

Do you have any reasonable suggestions, or are you a one-post and done user?

It’s too loaded in Germany - it needs a modern refresh

Media hegemony

I don’t really know anything that could work, is a good idea, but german isn’t acceptable its too loaded in America too.

Yes, and it needs to be a phrase that can catch on with normies that gently highlights that the fact that news is now narrative and not information

I've seen the term "kike" floated around I think it'd work

I would just start calling them what they are
>Headline Writers
No one reads their stuff, anyways. In fact few normies read more than headlines for 95% of their (((news))).
Do what Trump does and use a derisive term

>Living targets
I'm not sure if it is a strong enough term though.

Reminder: "Real Investigators and writers" talk is nostalgia for when you were a kid and trusted journalists. Newspaper people have always been subversive gossips.

I always liked calling them talking heads.

Just call them what they are, activists, bloggers, twitterati, liars.

How about “mouthpiece”?

Sharticlists. All they do is write shit anyways.

>Story Tellers

Loaded? In what way? It is supposed to be a rhetorical attack isn't it?
>Op wants them to use it
Oh in that case, need to think harder.
>something with truth that is ironic, think about how the "warrior" in SJW works wonders.

Antitrumps for the best ones like CNN and Nytimes. Trumps for the Foxnews ones.

‘Loaded’ in the S. I. Hayakawa sense. It’s so close to prostitute that it will never gain popular usage

Makes sense. Need to scale it back.

Listen.

Listen.

It has to be innocent sounding TO THEM. A term which they themselves might identify with, rather than journalist. And ultimately, one which we begin to evaluate as a negative AFTER they identify with it.

>Social Commentator
>Social Examiner
>Social Inspector
Something like that, but catchier to them, with a sinister undertone.

How about spokes-hole?

Lungenpresse

the more the years went by, the more journalists and "bloggers" became the same. quality went down. it's not passionate people who write with a specific background on a subject, its writers with hobbies.

on another note, currently there is no penalty for a journal/website to lie about something. CNN never sold more copies ever than when they lied about evidences on trump and russia. they had none and new it, nothing happened to them. heck even one of their reporter can yell at kim without any problem. Rupert murdoch sold more copies than ever in the 50s with the fake "hitler journals" he bought. he didn't give a fuck it was fake, he sold shit ton of copies with stories about it.

What about a spin on pide pipers, you know because they lead the rats to their doom.

Shout out to all memeing tards, do something, my creativity passed a long time ago.

Social influencers

an Instagram "influencer" is already a term, sadly, and I could really see the press latching onto this, since it's how they see themselves to begin with. To sane normies it sounds incredibly narcissistic and creepy.

Social [justice] inquisitor

a bit on the nose

What about an Opinion Vendor? Most news isn't news anymore. They are peddling scenarios of possible truths.

Why not use a old word for respected journalists and let journalist turn into a lesser term?
Muckrakers

I really like the phrase. It was applied to American journalists in the early 1900s who attacked established institutions and leaders and revealed their corruption. They usually had large audiences in some popular magazines. The government tried to smother information on their corruption especially with workers rights, so they were technically the first alternative news.

These are good because they are harmless enough that you won't seem edgy for using them. Here are similar ones...
>Political Commentator
>Political Interviewer

The Press has an agenda. That Agenda is to push their Left wing world view on the rest of the country. For our own good of course. They should be viewed as what they are, enemies of the Republic.

How about Narrorators?

With a modern twist, it still fits.

>I like that news anchor John. He's willing to get his hands dirty and investigate real news and has the balls to report it. He's a real muckraker! Unlike those CNN "journalists" who report only safe approved news in their pristine news room.

>A muckraker will visit the worst Swedish ghettos and risk death to report how it really is and get dirty.

>A "journalist" will report on the conditions of conflict in Palestine with a green screen and suspiciously pristine outfit in the middle of a war zone, along with videos and photos from a completely different country's war.

>Opinion Vendor
Reminds me of Kurt Cobain and ‘Opinion’
>Opinion Influencer
>Narrative Lyricist
>Opinion Puppet

something with the word "opinion" sounds fair.

>Non-investigative Opinionist
>Twitter Commentator
>Anonymous Source Maker-Upper

Commenters. They don't actually report,or investigate the news, they provide their comments on it. They're no different then a talkshow host, they don't care about the actual news, they report their opinion, and if you don't agree with it you're a backwards fool. Journalists find and report the news, ideally as free from as much bias as possible. A man reporting on an explosion that's left hundreds dead, and was himself showered with the gore of many, can be excused for putting a bit more dramatic spin on things, but that's a rare case. The talking heads on the "news" are just commenters, giving you their opinions and ideas on the news, not the news itself.

Anyone who publishes something with a "and that's a ___ thing", or a title like "This man proves again that he's actually shit" is a blogger or tabloid rumormonger and nothing else. I think the Associated Press are about the only actual journalists left, and even they're rapidly dying out.

Narrators

The puppet media looks and sounds unpleasant

>"CNN Commentator Jim Acosta says that drumpf is..."
It's good but somehow needs to be less neutral.

Better one maybe - narratists

Sounds great, actually

Either narratist or narrativist

Narativesmith or wordsmith

How about Info Whores. They will be whores to spread false info to brainwash the population for luxury and status?

Narrativesmith it's too complicated, wordsmith already exists
They'll never adopt it

journalists 2

Narativer?

Other then that we need some serious brainstorming. Or we maybe overthinking it. Maybe somthing simple to pronounce and meaningfull. Like Cuckserveative it had meaning because they were cucks for globalist agenda. Maybe Cuck Publishers, I am just throwing ideas out.

Counter-bump
See I think those are the best ones so far.

THIS THREAD WAS POSTED BY A RUSSIAN TROLL TRYING TO DESTABILIZE AMERICA BY QUESTIONING THE LEGITIMACY OF THE NEWS MEDIA.

Falsifier? It fits them well, they spread false info and know they do and do it on purpose.

Love it

No.
The same. They'll never adopt a term which is degrading at first sight.

>QUESTIONING THE LEGITIMACY OF THE NEWS MEDIA.
Then the news media should not have used the 1st amendment which the founding fathers gave to the press to report on the tyranny of the government. Instead they cover it up and tell you the destruction of this nation is fine. Maybe if the news media showed some real backbone and a love for the nation instead of spreading globalism then we would not have this thread now would we?

filters

Also, would be good if an actual wartime journalist were to come out and chastise these faggots and help things along by suggesting a new term for them.
>Social/Political Inquisitor
>Narratists

Presstitutes.

Social press

Nice narrative.

Bad connotation, and already suggested in

STI is a fantastic acronym

We have Fake News, why not Fake Journalists?

Look, the news media as is isn't going to be co-opted and taken over, we know that left-leaning people and institutions ideologically segregate and self-select.
We need to focus on blatant ridicule and polemic.

Well, I thought the point of the thread was coming up with a term that they could happily adopt, yet we could later use against them.

We need to get people against the news media and the journalists themselves. Whether it be local or national. Material objects are what they are surrounded by, but material objects and their luxury can be easily placed to the side. No mercy for those who participate in globalism and then reward themselves for it. If anything we are facing narcissists. So we destroy their images.

Getting close, we need a word for one that means they are self loathing and hollow. That being hollow spiritually, morally, and dignity. The thing they will not look at is a mirror that shows their true nature.

it's funny to observe the low end of the journalist spectrum become totally lost, scared and confused as everything their brainwashing university and the media told them about journalism isn't true and/or everyone hates them
most of the rank and file idiot journalist are ripe for the picking, if they haven't already figured out that the "mainstream" corporate media outfits are not what they seem

Forget the acronym. Just call them Influencers. Benign enough that they'll use it ironically like they do with echos around their names, but describes their real dirty purpose pretty well, and lumps them into the same category as shitty "social media influencers".
