We certainly can deport the children. Birthright citizenship has never actually been argued to apply to the children of non-resident aliens. It is the norm that we extend it, but that has never actually been brought before the court as far as I'm aware.
That would be a good change though. If neither of your parents were citizens you don't get to be either. Simple as that.

wut? If their parents are Haitian, for example, the kids automatically have Haitian citizenship as well even if they were born abroad.
Damn well can deport their asses back with their parents. Then once they turn 18 if the kids want to come back to the US and take advantage of their dual citizenship (assuming SCOTUS hasn't overturned birthright citizenship by then), that's their choice.

The only way to stop the anchor baby phenomenon is to remove the incentive that mexicans have to travel to the US to have their kids. You either change the law so kids born there aren't US citizens or you remove the parents from their kids.
If what the parents REAAALLY care about is giving their kids a better life they might still go to the US to have the child though.
