Jordan Peterson is the last stop (maybe second last) for the moderates before they realize certain realities and society polarizes to far right and far left. He rationally explains situations and lays out the psychological reasons for such, but he's got a few notable flaws. Most notable of which is that he completely misunderstands the great strides taken by European peoples during the enlightenment. It wasn't about enlightened individualism (whatever the fuck that means) or making the individual sovereign. No, it was about giving the individual efficacy over their own existence so that the collective cannot shit all over it, and thus harmonize the two. He opposes tribalism, despite the fact that Tribalism is the one element of human psychology that is capable of actually overriding our survival mechanisms. The greatest thriving human tribes were the ones that had maximum individual autonomy in times of peace and civility, and yet had those individuals sacrifice for the group in times of crisis.

Juden Peterstein parrots subjectivity in this account (and gets away with it because almost everything else that comes out of his mouth is evidence-based and scientific/irrefutable), and yet doesn't realize (or maybe he does) that Racialism exists inherently in the human psyche and that no amount of social conditioning is capable of changing that.

Is he a threat? No. He is merely the harbinger of the divisiveness to come. He is the last wrung on the ladder of social acceptance of the "other" and people flock to him because he represents the last justifiable counterposition to the radical left that isn't ultranationalism. Since his solution to a gunshot wound is a bandaid it simply won't last. Maybe it lasts 10, maybe a little bit longer, but it won't last.
