Is one of the quotes describing Atman, the soul's return to the ultimate reality. Growing up in a Western, Christian background, I always thought of Hinduism as exotic pagans with a lot of weird gods. It turns out, their pantheon of deities are various expressions of Brahman. It's hard for me to describe, as I'm not quite sure I've wrapped my head around it, but it's kinda like The Force. In one interpretation (albeit from a Western perspective), you could kinda describe Brahman as God.

I don't think Hindus ever created religious nuisance in the west.
Still I think there's bad people too in my religion who don't follow the Dharmic path and blame others for their misery.
I'm not a very religious Hindu but I don't have irrational prejudice against anyone. The world has to be a better place and and cultural clashes should not happen.
Multiculturalism does not work and people shouldn't violate others space.
Having said that you should read some of Vedas and follow Hinduism general threads, maybe you might learn a thing or two and walk on path of spirituality and have more fullfiling happy life.

Both are right.
Some Hindus think all the gods are autonomous and independent entities and some believe all is one.
Some believe in dvaita and some in advaita.
Some are almost atheistic and some tribal animists.
Some are Hare Krishnas and some are Aghoris

Western people tend to think that hinduism is just one thing, one philosophy, but in reality it would be the same as Indians thinking that western philosophy is just one religion.

It just so vast and layered during thousands of years that you can find in it, polar opposite ways of thinking.
