I worked at Amazon before, I don't know where they get this mistreatment of workers shit from. I've worked a few warehouse jobs before, Amazon was by far the best.

I worked for Amazon and had to work in an office where the thermostat couldn't be lower than 73 degrees, even in the hot Pacific Northwest summers. I sweat alot and people would micro-aggro me on the hottest days (like 75F+). I wasn't allowed to bring my own coffee maker to work (they had Keurig machines in our break room but I prefer drip coffee due to my fibromyalgia). Several internet sites were blocked while in the office, severely limiting my access to the outside world. My work area only had windows along one wall, which meant that after 2:00PM, all we had was harsh LED lighting. There were no ethically sourced, kosher, organic, gluten-free snacks in the free snack bar. Our health plan covered surgery and hormone therapy for gender reassignment and transgender, but not mental health pets. I once heard a supervisor misgender a fluid-gendered coworker who was identifying as female that day, and she never even apologized. Our health plan didn't cover my wife's boyfriend unless he also lived with us. I can't believe I spent 19 months in that hellhole.
