I can’t believe I fell for the Trump meme. Him meeting with Putin (the biggest enemy of the United States) right after the indictments of Russian agents being caught hacking the election has changed my view of him completely. His callous disregard for the safety of US elections is more than a bit disturbing. Him not canceling this meeting after it was discovered that Russians did in fact alter the outcome of the election as well as hacking the DNC and releasing the data via Wikileaks has made me come to question his involvement in the Russian plot to undermine our democracy (what the left has been saying all along, I feel so naive). I plan on voting a straight democratic ticket this coming November during the midterms as have many fellow Trump supporters I have talked to about this. Perhaps I cannot completely undo the damage that I have helped inflict on public confidence in our elections but I feel it’s a small step in the right direction. Who here feels the same?
