In New Orleans there is a ton of crime but its all in specific areas. Avoiding those areas prevents having crime happening to you essentially. What happens is stupid fucking hippies from the north come down here with their cultural marxist bullshit, they go to bad parts of town for "artsy" pictures (ie in front of graffiti murals etc) and end up having crime happening to them. That or they just move into prominently black neighborhoods for discounted housing.

One of my HS friends, hardcore pothead, worked there. His gf was an assistant mgr. This is true.

3 1/2 cups flour.
1 cup warm water.
2 tablespoons yeast.
2 tablespoons honey.
1/4 cup olive oil.
1/2 teaspoon salt.

Mix, knead into a ball, then knead for another couple minutes. Put ball into metal oiled bowl, cover with towel, let rest somewhere warm with no breeze, like a closed microwave if warm day, or if a cold day, turn on the oven for about 1 minute just to get slightly warm, then turn it back off and put the bowl in the closed oven for about 2 hours.

Next preheat your oven to as hot as it goes. This will take a while. If you have pizza stones/tiles, great, otherwise a rimless cookie sheet works fine.

During the oven preheating, you need to cook your toppings. You can't just put raw onions on a pizza, the water will ooze out and fuck everything up. So you have to cook the water out of your toppings, like onions, peppers, mushrooms, etc. Put them in small bowls. Grate soft cheese and hard cheese and set aside.

Next, roll out your dough on a floured surface and slide it into the oven to par-cook. True badasses don't do this, but it makes things a lot less likely to stick. Cook the naked crust for about a minute and a half, or until it starts puffing up. Pull it back out and it's ready to make a pizza on. The dough recipe above is about 3 pizzas.

For sauce any canned tomatoes you like the taste of works. I like Italian tomatoes and chunks in mine. A little sauce goes a long way. There are infinite variations, but straight canned works fine.

Build the pie with sauce, toppings, soft cheese, and then hard cheese. Then seasonings, like black pepper/paprika/cayenne. Slide into oven and cook until the whole fucking thing is boiling. Let rest for a minute or two before cutting. Eat.
