Basically what I think happened is that Russia and Trump were very much willing to work together for peace and negotiations. But the liberals and the media don't want that to happen, so they poisoned the conversation so much that they are preventing both of us from moving forward. There were talks of Trump pulling out all troops from Syria (which is what all of his supporters want) and having Russia deal with the Israel vs. Iran situation. Remember what happened the last time Trump tried to do that?
We also have to remember that Trump was the one who talked about election meddling before the election. Obama was the one who dismissed it.
