I had a friend who got out of the Navy a few years back who went out with SEALs because he was an EOD Technician and he said they were basically the Prima Donnas of the Navy. They were always demanding the latest and greatest weapons and equipment even if it wasn't necessary for the mission and were rife with drug abuse, most notable steroids.
