WWI was caused by France. They purposely allied with a country that was constantly getting into conflicts with the Austro-Hungarians prior to their alliance with France. If France didn't try to meddle in the Balkans, there would be no WWI. Likely just another small conflict that either the Kaiser would convince the Austrians to call off, or the Austrians would just take Serbia and no one else in Europe would notice the difference.

The French, had they still have been under Napoleonic rule, would have never allied against the Austrians, due to their strong relationship to the Habsburg Crown. Had the Confederacy won, the Mexican Empire ruled by the brother of the Austrian Empire had won its civil war against the Republicans (because the confederates were allies of the Mexican crown), and they would have helped Napoleon III during the Franco-Prussian War to not get deposed (since Napoleon III had helped Maximillian become the Mexican Emperor) and all of this 20th century mess would have been avoided. The white population would have been double of what it is today and the second industrial revolution would have been achieved instead of caring about muh civil rights and democracy. A real damn shame.
