I live in a rural town with an at least 99% white population, there are a small number of Europeans but not many
English culture is still very active around here, the festivals and carnivals are happening all the time, i see several morris dancing groups, sometimes they even have folk musicians playing on the trains - basically the authentic England.
And yet I still feel alienated and not able to identify with any of it..

In the end, I ended up coming back to the UK after trying to live and find my place in different countries, because I felt the same as you.I realised my problem isn't with the UK, it's with the world in general. People are shitty, politics are a distraction for anger, and culture is just a cute veneer to help us forgot our problems and place in the world sometimes. The UK isn't some super rich paradise, so we will always compare ourselves to more well off countries, but it isn't so shitty that all our energies are devoted to surviving and helping out families, so it's just comfortable and stable enough that we can reflect on how crappy and boring life is sometimes. If you haven't seen the rest of the world enough, it's easy just to blame your own country and culture and think the rest of the world is better somewhere. It's just life, and unfortunately we're stuck dealing with it. I definitely recommend travelling as much as possible, and the UK is definitely shit and there nicer places, but moving somewhere and adopting their problems on top of your own rarely will help. Sometimes emigrating is good if you have better opportunities elsewhere, but don't move somewhere just to get away from your own crappy situation, because you'll just end up with another country's shiftiness, on top of worrying about your own if you gave up and came back.
