How Crowdfunding Will Change The World

>Some estimate that the cost to construct the X-Seed 4000 structure may be somewhere
>between US$300–900 billion, in 2006 dollars ($587 billion–$1.06 trillion in 2015)
If people took the power back (from the elites) we could crowd fund (with equity) anything and build up our countries with the power of the people.
(some rumors that mega structures won't hold the foundation, but its just an example)

I liked his story about unwittingly fucking a tranny. Really got me thinking.

If industry is owned by the public instead of a few investors (there would probably be a mix of both).
People would feel more ownership of their country and accomplishments that the public is part of creating.
If anything this makes the most sense out of all systems ever made.

Um, isn't this just taxes?

one is voluntary

To add:
If a country implemented this to a point where investing became as common as brushing your teeth.
Every other country not using this system would be a shithole in comparison.

>Um, isn't this just taxes?
People would make a real profit from it (if the industry is successful)

>He thinks money is not just worthless paper and random numbers in gov computers.
This is why communism always fails.
>Kill da rich
>Acquire useless paper
The only real value in this world is physical product and manpower. Money doesn't build shit on it's own.
The moment valuables were replaced with (((paper currency))) ,was when the economy went to shit.

>He thinks money is not just worthless paper and random numbers in gov computers.
>This is why communism always fails.
Its capitalism, no one is forced to invest, you are generalizing crowd funding with communism

>Kill da rich
The orginal article had some anti elite thing in it.
I don't really have anything against the elite, this system would make more stars and elites.

>The only real value in this world is physical product and manpower. Money doesn't build shit on it's own.

So your perspective is projects funded by the public would not be possible because there is no man power backing it.
I would assume if it was a construction project, the team asking for investors would be experinced in hiring construction companies which they probably would be themselves,
In the case of something like the picture it would probably need workers from all over the planet.

>communism has never been tried

>communism has never been tried
This is equity crowfunding which is like kickstarter.com and indiegogo.com.
But instead of getting a keychain or product, you get real money and ownership in the company/project.
Are Rich investors communists because they invest in hollywood movies ect?

>crowdfunding will change society

NOPE IT WONT at least when talking about games, free money is not enought to get some idea and change its variable "IT_EXIST" from fast to true.

Creative thought isn't something lacking in a western society.
I have had many ideas that never saw the light of day because i didn't have the resources and experience to get it off the ground.
Though many ideas are partially off the ground and only need money to be distributed.

Crowdfunding doesn't work because people, specially liberals, are total retards regarding how they spend the money.
All you get is scammers like Anita Sarkeesian getting 150000$ for a promise to film a few youtube videos that she can no longer make because she left the man that actually did all the work.
Also lots of gay cuck porn.

Equtiy Crowdfunding is binded by contract, kickstarter.com isn't.
Breach of contract = Jail.

>because i didn't have the resources
If you had you wouldnt do it too because free money is not enought tod o it, crowdfunding already proved

If people "took power back from the elites" tens of millions of them would starve to death because that's always what happens with socialism

I probably shouldn't have written that because goes a bit against my beleifs.
Elites can keep their power but the public should become rich too.
From what i read it is pure Capitalism not Socialism or Communism.

>crowd fund (with equity)
You mean selling shares, like a regular business?

>You mean selling shares, like a regular business?
Investment in startup is a bit different from buying shares.
But yes, you get shares.
