Thats what I mean, like you can clearly see the intentions behind the book, if christians told me that they dont take the bible literally it would seem much more logical, but no, they take everything literally, one existence and after that an eternity of torture or afterlife in heaven. Long-time atheist here as well. Only recently I started getting back into Christianity a bit. I'm not yet sure if I'll go full Christian.
It's worth noting that pretty much all atheists are degenerate.
When I was around 12, I looked up evidence for atheism online, mostly to remove fear of God, so that I can go on with my degenerate deeds and God-playing.
Christianity is a pretty good religion. It is especially good for recovering degenerates. They will accept you and help you heal (depends on the community, some are retards). Even the Bible itself teaches that God loves you and that you deserve to be repaired. For a damaged neckbeard NEET, this may provide that self-worth boost to continue on the right path.
