This will probably kill Supergirl. It's the least popular of all the CW cape shows and, like the Flash, is geared more towards kids. Parents will pull their kids out and they will lose another chunk of their audience, probably enough to get cancelled.
Flash is the campy flagship and silly so it's pretty safe with minimum SJW stuff other than hat leaks into it from the other shows or during crossovers. Supergirl and Black Lightning is where this gets crowd tested first and Supergirl is falling hard while Black Lightning heavily appeals to a black audience that is carrying it (along with decent writing) but is trying hard to be Marvel Netflix without dedicating to the mature themes.
