What is Jow Forums‘s opinion on Assyrians? I am an Assyrian Iraqi Christian that was born in northern Iraq. Assyrians are an ethno-religious group in the Middle East that are Christian. Most are based in northern Iraq and Syria. We are indigenous to Mesopotamia and speak Aramaic. I want to know, how does Jow Forums feel about us? In general, we were constantly abused by Muslims in our home countries. I had countless problems with Muslims who would mess with me on a daily basis. I recall when I was a kid, a Muslim kid once told me,”Your religion is on the bottom of my shoe”. Muslims in my opinion are two faced demons. I only had one good friend who was a Muslim.
I want to know, how does Jow Forums feel about us? Would you put us on the same level as Muslims? I really do hate them as much as the next person on this board, and it pains me every day to see them move to Europe, and what they’re doing to it.

They don't mention much in my CNN/AP copy-paste national media outlet and don't even discriminate/differenciate the different ethnicities in Middle East. Probably to speed up the news and don't discriminate the muh Muslims. Assyrians are great people. I’ve met a lot of them over the years, and they are driven people with good morals/care about community. They are proud of who they are, but unlike another group, even prouder to be where they legally immigrate to. They assimilate well into white communities. My only con is to learn English quicker, possibly by using it in their household with friends and family instead of speaking Arabic/Aramaic.
