Depends on how you look at it. Keep in mind that bannon used one of the leading parties to otry and insert himself. So he wasn't really responsible for creating the network. It's hard to gauge just what his impact has been, but it's easy to gauge that he hasn't had the success he dreamed of.
As an aggegrate I think it would be easier to support a fptp system as there's less complexity and diversity to the political landscape. It requires less of a politician with a solid and established party to survive than to fight dailyi n a minority governmente (which is often the case in EU politics).
