You do realise by the standards of the time, African slaves lived much better lives than their white counterparts in most parts of the world, right?
The average life expectancy of an African cotton slave in North America was 36 years vs 24 years for a white person living in Liverpool. Black cotton slaves also worked less hours on average than white farmers. The only reason Irish indentured servants weren’t used as cotton slaves to the same extent was because their skin burned too easily.
