1) foreign intervention. Ron and Rand wants out. Trump wants to get paid for the job
2) tariffs. Ron and Rand wants none. Trump wants to use it as a sword to level the playing field.
3) immigration. Rand and Paul are ok with the current level of legal immigration. Trump wants to reduce it

Trump and Paul share some ideas but there is no influence from Paul to Trump, only alignment of goals and enemies.
