I know what you talk about. Barbarossa was impressive but the goal was unachievable for any army at this time. Invasion of France worked because the allies wanted to fight another 4 year long trench war. French tanks had better armor and guns compared to German ones but were not designed for mobile combat. Battle of France was won because the Germans tried to innovate warfare and took risks. The allies were superior in a lot of aspects yet suffered a crushing defeat in this battle. I might have phrased it wrong but I didn't say that the Wehrmacht was bad. In my opinion they were the best force in WW2 but even if you outperform your own limits you can not achieve the unachiveable. The defeat comes down to a lot of factors and it is really an interesting topic.
