It would be possible to hack voting machines if it weren't for the fact every county uses a different voting method, any fucking idiot can make a voting machine and therefore every official with power over the budget for voting machines makes sure their brother in law's voting booth machine gets the contract, and not every county even uses electronic voting machines.

What makes it easy is that no one ever clearly states what ''this'' even is. It's purposely left vague so that everyone can invent their own version of events in their mind.
If they came out and flat out said that the election was hacked, that the votes were turned from Hillary to Trump, people wouldn't believe that, it would be fucking ridiculous and they would ask for a simple recount to check if the votes were correct.

It's not that people are retarded and illiterate, it's that they are given a very vague story that fits the narrative that they like, and they are told to fill the gaps themselves.
If someone is dumb and tech illiterate, they might believe that Russia literally hacked the ballots. If someone is a bit smarter and not as tech illiterate, they might think that Russia was responsible for DNC e-mails getting leaked which resulted in Dems losing a lot of votes.

I would say its extremely improbable. The USA is the most powerful country in the world with the best intelligence agencies and tech at their disposal. The idea Russia could pull off anything without setting off alarm bells is laughable. The idea that Obama and Clinton did not know something was up was laughable. Any attempts to interfere were most likely easily known about and allowed because they did not want any investigations into the election because the Dems were up to shady shit much worse that would have been caught.

If anything the Russians were just operating to collect data and espionage as they always do and maybe try to change peoples opinions but they would not act in any overt way to change the results of the election and most likely were largely apathetic to the results.

They meddled mate.
They just had negligible effect.

1. Russians paid for ads on Kikebook and probably for some shitposting. This is par for the course propaganda. Every country does this shit. Additionally, of the ads on Facebook, some were pro-Hillary.
2. DNC emails were leaked. Not faked, leaked. The DNC and Killary were and still are doing retarded, suspicious and outright illegal shit and they got caught. Theres no evidence the leak was from foreign agents either, given the time it took for the files to be transferred indicates it was done locally. His name was Seth Rich and they killed him for it.
Basically Russia did nothing we don't also do and the DNC is still just salty people found out about 1/100th of their corruption. Even if you're a raving leftist lunatic who thinks the leak counts as meddling, go look at the polling data before and after the leaks - the opinion toward Hillary remained virtually unchanged, same with Comey. That's the goal. If you want to actually pick a winner you need to put individuals in the ballot stations and have enough guard the boxes before transport so they can replace the ballots before they ship off to a centralized location to be counted for the county.

Or staff the offloading into the county office to count, have feasible yet favorable percentage at enough offices to make sure candidate wins.

Lots of risk, hard to make succeed. Requires lots of people with US IDs. Can't get that kind of collaboration these days sans cold war.
