ITT we paintbucket Europe, but not in the same way this thread was handled previously.
We only give our opinion on places we actually visited for more than 3 days. If you don't travel your opinion simply doesn't count enough, because it lacks personal experience.
As you can see in my map I specified what place I specifically come frome (in this case, Rome) circling a white dot on country, coloured blue as usual.
I have also stated some particular opinions on cities I visited in my own country (in this case Milan, Turin and Naples) circling accordingly.
This thread can be used to select a favourable travel destination since summer is already here.
Mixed feelings countries: I traveled in France mostly in the southern zone and in Paris. I disliked the city but loved the countryside. Lotsa very fine people, truly careful in showing the best they could offer in terms of service and cusine around Lyon and in Burgundy. I'd avoid Paris as a tourist, despite the beauty of the city is pretty engulfed with discouraging people.
I only visited Berlin in Germany, and I liked and disliked the city mostly for the same reasons, but I don't have an opinion on the countryside.
Every spot I hit in Portugal was amazing and pretty cheap. Spain left me half-satisfied, but the seaside in the island and the night life are good stuff.
I've been in London 5 times and it literally got worse every time I set foot there, we all know the reasons about that. Nothern countries are good for sightseeing but pretty much too expensive in my opinion. Iceland is really something everyone should see in life before abandoning the ship. Finland is spectacular if you enjoy metal and that kind of music in general.
In Greece I felt at home, and people was fine as well. Nothing negative to say indeed. I went in Zakintos last time, fantastic rocky shores with blue crystal seaside. Also been in Crete and on the continental area, but mostly traveled fast by car.
