>Sign ceasefire for entire region that has elements you can't control >Elements you can't control, lash out attacking everybody >Clean said area >BUT BUT MUH CEASEFIRE
Er, don't. Trusting they won't come after you later is evidently completely false so you might as well just keep fighting. At least you'll kill some of them instead of just standing by waiting for your demise as they defeat the other rebel pockets in detail.
Jaxson Walker
democratic elections since that is all the rebells ask for but Assad CanNOT run

I agree, they really missed their chance to butcher some nusayri dogs. Allahu akbar my fellow jihadi-supporter.
the only issue there can be is that in the future others don't trust with ceasefire agreements. But they have been faithfully with their green bus deals and that seems to work out.. So I don't see that big of a problem there. They just choose where one should trust them
Hudson Garcia
>so you might as well just die to indiscriminate bombing earlier doesn't sound that appealing. How about just giving up and not dying at all? That's what most of them opted for anyways.
Aaron Sullivan
Look up Arab conflicts in 1956, I'm sure you'll get a few.

Why is the reconquest of Daraa called “operation basalt”?
Bentley Cox
Then they were just pretending not to basically be in a self-made POW camp, which is little different from an actual one.
The green buses have continually just shunted them to Idlib.
Whether that means anything depends on whether /sg/'s desire for the Russians to (somehow) force the Turks out (even though they just showed up, relatively speaking) comes true. If so, they were just delaying having to face Assad's assault anyway. If the Turks DO retain Idlib, then honestly everyone would have been better off just packing up and moving there sooner.
Unusual #Syria|n Air Force IL-76 flight. Normally YK-ATD flies daily supply run to the regime enclave at al-Qamishly. It did that early today, then flew from home base (Damascus) to the air base at Tiyas/T4, then from there to Tehran/Mehrabad, #Iran. Tiyas is home to #IRGC unit.
try to factor in time in ur analysis, the longer they fight the longer Syria is busy which is in the interests of certain actors. Turkey under ErDogan has been doing a lot of thingsaccording tot he situation in the moment. Is it impossible to imagine that they fuck off as jihadi shitheads seem not the easiest bunch to manage and if they get a deal which includes some guarantee against their Kurd problem? Not saying for sure what will happen, but I don't think it is impossible to imagine, even though they only 'recently' got there
Ian Moore
Considering that the kikes are now shilling for kicking out the Iranians, it would make sense for them to do such a "show of power" at this time.
Owen Reyes
They did that two months ago
Didn't really accomplish anything
Angel Ross
>This is why ceasefires are nonsense. lad....that's just stupid. It means to temporarily agree to not fight, not more not less. The actors willa gree if both sides deem not fighting for a while is in their interest. What's so hard to get?
Tyler Martin
100%. >Israeli Air Force G550 Nachshon Eitam AEW&C aircraft airborne right now c/s ANGLE1
Of course it didn't, but they have nothing to lose still.

i dont see how the post you linked to connects to Israel allowing it.

It's not, but it would be very odd, and kind of out of character for our Neo Sultan.
Occupying shit that isn't his seems to be his thing, just ask Iraq.

>Then they were just pretending not to basically be in a self-made POW camp, which is little different from an actual one. The globohomo empire and the gulf states paid generous salaries to the rebel chiefs in charge. Which is why they (the rebels) were reluctant to surrender and reconcile when there was no threat to their lives.
Noah Rivera
It's not really in their interest though. The rebels only became weaker over time, not stronger, so not fighting just allows their opponents to gain the upper hand even faster.
It's a short-term decision that lacks foresight.
Caleb Peterson
buses arrive for who reject reconciliation in al-Jizah and Bosra al-Sham
>370km range If it really will wait for the plane to come back, it should stay flying over the Golan at least.
Xavier Collins
that's really easy for you to say in hindsight. on the ground they get to live longer for a while and maybe it's enough time to convince the American friend to send more support for Freedom, Love and worldwide Jihad
Jack Foster
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA get down from there you idiot!!!
Jayden Sanders
Yes I understand they would think all that, people have notoriously short timescales for decision making.
I'm saying it's not actually the optimal choice, assuming you're still trying to win.
If your'e just trying to survive you should already have left for Turkey or Jordan like everyone else.
>It's not really in their interest though. You missed the whole Aleppo, Ghouta? UN and the west were calling for ceasefires so the jihadists could regroup and push again also for muh AID .. Just because it did not work the same in Daraa does not mean they did not benefit from it in the past

Deraa was, even to the day it fell, mostly controlled by the FSA, not Al Qaeda.
Not ceasefire was ever going to work in Idlib or Aleppo, obviously, because those places were controlled by Al Qaeda who never had any intention of stopping their fight for any reason ever.
Deraa was the one place the ceasefire actually worked, but because the Americans weren't going to defend the place (I have no idea why desu; there was even an ISIS cell there, they had the perfect excuse to move in), Assad took it anyway because he has no interest in anything that doesn't lead to him getting the entire country back.
At worst he have one meter till stairs, why such hassle?
Kevin Wood
This. Incredibly stupid thing to do for such a valuable reporter. Not to mention he could damage it in the process.
Ian Morgan
Source? Why would an American name his twitter for an old Russian General and post dead FSA
Eli Lopez
Scratch that, i just realized that i was horribly wrong and with 370km range, it can actually hover over Tel Aviv and still do it's job of covering Damascus and it's surrounding airspace.
Iranian Foreign Minister Response to President Trump
COLOR US UNIMPRESSED: The world heard even harsher bluster a few months ago. And Iranians have heard them —albeit more civilized ones—for 40 yrs. We’ve been around for millennia & seen fall of empires, incl our own, which lasted more than the life of some countries. BE CAUTIOUS!
>#PYD made Assayish ( internal security forces ) removes their old flags which had #Rojava on it ( referring to west of Kürdistan ) to ones without Rojava, just “ internal security forces “ Woah, they realized that their landlocked k*rdistan pipedream will never come into fruition?
>our shitty Islamic theocracy imported from a bunch of Arab barbarians and only founded in 1979 can stake claim to the entirety of Iranian history We need to make Zoroastrianism Great Again and hang the Ayatollah from a street lamp.
He is wrong, current government doesn't have continuous rule over land for millennia, they do not even had continuous rule for one century. People have history but not government. People all around world have been on Earth for millennia and saw rise and fall of empires. His statement as dumb as CIA ITT or that of random mutt.
Ryder Campbell
Nah. America needs a boogeyman. ISIS was supposed to be it when created a super evil Islamic state from Damascus to Baghdad, necessitating a decade long war to root them out. Sadly that didn't happen. Now we're searching aimlessly for a big bad we can match wits with. However, none are that lowly.
Kevin Sullivan
