Before you fags cry fayke noose, this is a South Korean news organization quoting North Korea's state media. South Korea has the most to lose from the talks falling apart and war breaking out, so why would they make this shit up?
North Korea is going to keep extracting concessions from the U.S. in exchange for small shit. Sending back hostages and war remains and blocking the entrance to a test site that was no longer useful are all small concessions. Meanwhile, the North hasn't given a list of all their weapons and shit and where they are located, or a timeline for demilitarization.
Dismantling this ONE test site is a big move, but it in no way signals they are ready to give up all their shit.

Less than a year ago, the mainstream media was talking about how Trump was going to cause WW3 with Korea because he was dumb and aggressive and he could only make it worse and how Kim was fucking based for calling him a dotard.
Less than ten months ago, the mainstream media was talking about how Trump was dumb and too passive and could only make it worse and how Kim was now the most evil man on the planet.
Less than six months ago a summit could never happen.

Less than two months ago "no concession will ever actually be made".

Most of these developments has happened because Trump isn't like traditional presidents. Any of the past Presidents could have chosen to meet with the Kims, but they chose not to.
The have tried negotiating with North Korea multiple times before, and each time they have failed. This was also back when the North didn't have nuclear weapons and as a result had MUCH less leverage in negotiations. So why would the North give up their shit now? Because Kim is great friends with Trump? Get real.
If the Koreas are going to unify, it's going to either be under a North Korean government or a South Korean government. The idea of both countries unifying but still keeping their respective governments makes zero fucking sense.
Perhaps the U.S. will just realize they have to live with a nuclear-armed North Korea and learn to deter them like Russia or China. But the idea that the North is going to give up their nuclear weapons system they have spent DECADES developing, and have only just completed, in return for some minor sanctions relief, doesn't add up. If Kim gave them up and opened his country up to the world economy, his regime would collapse.
