Lost christian folks turn to atheism everyday but are there atheist who turned to christianity here?

It comes back around when you get older.
Jackson Bennett
Whoops pardon my accidental memeflaggotry.
Jeremiah Gray
how were you able to believe in god?
Nicholas Morales
I dunno, but I'm some sort of gnostic-christian-buddhist heretic that believes God is the sentience in every living thing, and only in rare scenarios does anyone realize it. But some have, and they all end up saying the same thing about being the light in darkness, avoiding temptation/craving, accepting the truth, and being excellent to each other.
Ethan Murphy
i came back , amen

I was atheist / agnostic and recently found my way to Christianity and have never been happier. This insanity in the US over the hatred of Trump had me digging through history books to see if any other world leader had been treated like him in the past and I ended up deciding to read the Bible. I read the NASB version and did my own research using Strong's Concordance, William Barclay's Synoptic Gospels, and the Bible Knowledge Commentary. I've reflected on everything in my life and realize that coincidences lined up scarily to many things in my life leading to who the person I am today. I tried hard to prove otherwise and with the advent of this cultish and weaponized science used by the media and leftists on top of all the character assassination and outright lies by the media and established government leaders, I've come to see the Jews who hated Jesus for the threat he was to them and how they ultimately destroyed him was the same tools and methods they've used repeatedly throughout time. They consistently undermine the host nation to which they are apart of and their disgusting blood rituals associated with circumcision pushed me even further into believing in Jesus / God's word. I've prayed every single night since the middle of 2016 and I know you won't believe me, but the things that have happened to me and the people I love have convinced me He is real. I don't pray for stupid shit like material possessions or status. I pray for the well-being and safekeeping of the ones I love and events that should have been impossible to happen have happened that leave no room for doubt.

I firmly believe in technology and science and what liberals are doing with it on things like climate change, gender, this push for pedophilia normalization, the anti white, anti conservative, anti Christian narrative is getting fucking old. I've learned that Catholicism is not true to Jesus's teachings and that they practice many of the same traditions fake Jews (Pharisees, the ones who had Christ murdered) had started Catholicism as a means to warp Christianity into a negative light and are responsible for recruitment and hiding of so many bishops and priests that have raped kids and been protected by the Vatican. There is no "holy figure" on earth anymore and God declared as such when Jesus arrived and there would be no other "holy figure" on earth when he died. These practices were originally in the Old Testament to which Jesus said the covenant God had made with Abraham (ultimately man) was fulfilled. Circumcision was to be stopped, sacrifice was to be stopped, and all the old temple rituals were to stop. I can go on if you want, but when you find out how much you've been lied to throughout your life as it relates to Jews, Catholics, and actual Christianity, it will make you angry enough that you want to search for the real truth. Your world view permanently changes and I think this is what needs to happen before you're ready to reach out to God. Jesus did NOT tolerate evil and he was not some "nice hippie" who wanted everyone to love each other. Jesus despised evil and called it out wherever it was or whenever it showed its ugly head.
Xavier Richardson

I really feel this sums up Jesus perfectly.

I went from Christian Catholicism to militant atheism to atheism to agnosticism. I'm fairly certain that I'll never return to Christianity though.
Josiah Parker
Great post. Wish I could find more stuff like you posted.
Jackson Parker
It’s not a case of turning to atheism. There comes a point when you realise that religions are all ridiculous
Gavin Young
I used to be a christian apologist but the I realized it was mythology written by brown people from the desert and I haven't looked back sense
Kevin Barnes
Anything can be called ridiculous if you've never been shown the truth. Or worse, you've been shown a deliberate lie masquerading as truth. The alternative is believing that everything in our world is completely random. We chalk up the perfection that needed to happen to keep our planet at just the right angle, at just the right distance, at just the right time to form. We are made up of quite literally the most common elements in the universe. That means, statistically speaking, there should be a considerable more amount of Earth like planets or beings just like us if that's the case. Every argument I hear against this is "Not enough time has passed" or "We haven't explored enough of the universe to know for sure." Then I bring up the Big Bang and how scientific consensus is that this is the currently accepted theory regarding the creation of the universe. When I point at that a catalyst is what we scientifically know to cause change, yet we're not willing to even consider the possiblity that a being beyond our fathoming was the catalyst who was able to cause the unbalancing of matter and dark matter that lead to the explosion of exponentially increasing border distance from the center (which defies all known laws of physics) to the point we even faster than light travel will still be unable to catch up (how convenient). I don't believe in coincidences anymore.
Nicholas Taylor
Still haven't found proof for god, so no, i haven't.
Jacob Watson
What does "proof" look like to you? Do you really think you'd believe it regardless of the form it manifested as? Better yet, if this "proof" convinced you 100% of God's existence, how would you be able to prove it to others?
Brandon Nelson
Me
Aaron Phillips
The burden of proof is on those claiming there is a god. It's really not up to me to define what god would look like, since i'm not the one that claiming there is a god in very specific details like Christians do.
Hudson Parker
finding proof, and trying to test God isnt what religion is about.

Kinda. Not 100% on board, but I'm getting there, i think.

Matthew 7:13-14
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
Parker Cooper
The absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. That's the oldest logical fallacy in existence. There's plenty of "proof" you just don't believe it. My point is that "proof" of God will never be acceptable to anyone unless it is tailored to that person, which is the whole point of the Holy spirit and how it works. You can't expect communication to work if you aren't willing to listen and communicate back.
Robert Smith
>The absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.
So you're just uncertain then, because that isn't definitive proof.
> There's plenty of "proof" you just don't believe it.
Then why isn't it everywhere, why can't you definitively tell me, or show me exactly what it is? Every religions goal is to get more followers. If there was some kind of irrefutable proof out there then there would be no debate whether or not god exists or whether or not your god is the real god.
Mason Lopez
I see this meme posted all the time , so i think loads of people turn to faith
Luke Garcia
Asking for proof of god is lack of faith and those without faith would never believe in god even if he showed up and said hi. God is with you always he knows your sins and your reasons and in the end we will all make an account of our lives. 99.99% of us will fail and burn.
Jace Richardson
I'm pretty much agnostic. I think religion is necessary for societal and family values. But idk if there is a god or not. I just think that don't believe or are not sure, they shouldn't be hated for simply asking for proof
Landon Jackson
Hudson Edwards
Somehow yeah

what is that supposed to mean, or rather what is the purpose of stating such an absurdity?

Stop watching Jordan Peterson, maybe then you will actually believe in God.

There are no atheist in the world when they are on their death bed. Every atheist that I've ever known has converted to some form of Christianity after being diagnosed with a terminable disease...
Angel Clark
Read through New Testament. Read Revelations. You'll feel the calling if it hits you. Don't be concerned with the black/white of which version of the Church is right, no one version Is probably correct, but the New Testament Is his word. Give up your worldly vices alcohol, drugs, sugar, etc...these things keep you pinned in the flesh and lose your spiritual connectivity, so does crass materialism. Remember our society today is WAAAAAY different and backward that our actual Christian ancestry. Look at around at Evil/Wicked forces and see the totality of (((darkness))) that drives them, systematically. Look into the souless eyes of Antifa. Most importantly pray/mediation. Pray for your enemies and others always before yourself. Pay attention to small signs that you may write off as coincidence. When he speaks to you it will be through your conscience, heart string tugging, not a literal voice. Good luck and God Bless

As an agnostic raised catholic. I can see why they do that. I mean, if you're not sure about whether or not you'll go to heaven or hell, why not take precautions at the last minute?

The entire universe runs on very precise mathematical calculations if but one variable was off by even the slightest none of us would exist. That alone is proof enough for me. Just think of the odds that any other living person experiencing the exact same events as you have in your life and know its impossible. If all things are random chance then life has no point or meaning. Only through a greater will can we all exist and have purpose. Look at the world and see what the lack of faith has brought us. As on earth so it is in heaven.
Isaac Lee
I'm an atheist but I like Christianity. I think for most people it instills a good set of morals and a positive framework to live your life by, and I think Christian societies are usually the best socieities on earth. I simply don't believe in any of its divine claims.
Tyler Bell
I remember reading somewhere that the religious convictions of a person's father are the greatest determining factor of said person's future religious convictions. Maybe that's why the destruction of the family and the push for apathetic fathers has been prevelant in our societies, so that people also become apathetic nihilists.

The destruction of family and religion is the goal of communism. It is done to replace god and family with the state.

this, was hardline atheist in my younger years, now I'm agnostic and leaning further and further toward the teachings of Christ every day.

Alexander Ward
unironically this. I was raised Mormon and active in the faith for 23 years. Left it when I joined the Army, acted like a degenerate for a bit, then I had kids and a lot about my views on life changed. I was fully disbelieving Atheist for a few years. I'm feeling the pull back towards Christianity again...I may not ever go back towards Mormonism because I learned about far too much corruption behind the scenes to ever want to embrace the institutionalized religion again. I found my old scriptures the other day and I feel a strong pull to go through them again. I may not fully re-convert back to Mormonism but I'm open to the idea of embracing a more personal form of Christianity after I work it out and digest it.
Juan Allen
Wouldn't it make sense that if a moral structure works for everybody, then it's the truth? Meaning that if your life is greatly improved by being a Christian, just like everyone else's, then it is proof that there is truth behind Christianity.
Isaiah Moore
Right here baby. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

Atheist suck didn't know what I was thinking then but when you actually take time to look at it and history the good the bad and ugly it's honestly better to have faith then none because we all need faith in something and putting faith in false idols will lead to madness.

Perhaps that is the case my friend. If god does exist i'd love to experience and know what is one day. But it's almost as if our universe is coded with math.

i was a nihilist for years, used to stay up all night counting down my days to live before it all stops mattering and i pass into the void. so let be help you, the key is just to stop thinking about it. read the bible, read about the life of Christ and appreciate how beautiful it can be Talk to a priest, multiple priests of multiple denominations. and most of all, just trust that the lord is there and loves you. You won't believe at first, no one finds god in an afternoon, not really. it will take a long time to convince the brain you have trained for years to resist, but eventually, you'll feel it. you'll feel less scared, less worried, and happier that you did it. wrong or right, it doesn't matter, you can't live with the fear of death constantly behind you. so fill that hole with the love of god instead.
Zachary Thomas
You're not going back far enough noob and putting trust in some of the most unreliable/inaccurate sources known to mankind.

They have the best aesthetics, I say that as a Catholic. Unfortunately a lot of Orthodox churches won't accept anglos, a lot of them are clubs for the local Russian/Greek diaspora
Colton Hernandez
yes, I turned from a pretty solid Atheist to a spiritual person. The only reason I identify with Christianity, is because that's what I've grown up with. Took DMT to make me realize the world has a spiritual dimension.
Brayden Edwards
It's the ancient, original faith. I've been reading The Orthodox Church by Timothy Ware.
I feel the opposite. I think Roman Catholics have the best aesthetics but Eastern Orthodoxy is calling to me.

DMT is scary shit nigga

I was a christian turned agnostic turned to christian spiritualist. I honestly feel this is the best path.
No more jewish "no fun allowed" horseshit mixed with deep pagan philosophy. I guess really the only thing where Christianity works is Jesus is an idol for the people, rather than himself, meaning full on repayment of my losses.
I guess the only thing Jesus asks for is minimal morality which is nothing. Only a miser would protest.
Jose Ross
Ok, good. It's about faith and not just "OMG they're so BASED and hate refugees, dude!!!".

I don't actually know their stance on refugees yet. I've just been reading the Bible and some other books.
Sebastian Hall
After Vatican II a lot of dioceses eschewed the traditional aesthetics for ugly airplane hangar buildings.

is it possible be an atheist without being a nihilist?
Daniel Bell
That's simply due to your ignorance on the subject matter.
Even if it wasn't, your ego rejects the idea of a naturalistic origin for experiencing "ascension".
Remember, I didn't say God doesn't exist just that the Abrahimic ones are full of shit.

They for the most part are not refugees. A very small number are women and children the rest are adult men. Immigration and cultural displacement have been used for thousands of years as a weapon to destabilize and invade other nations.

user, this book is literally called "Evidence for Christianity" by Josh McDowell and in my opinion is one of the greatest works to support the faith. It talks of archaeology, prophecy, the Resurrection etc. What the user said is true though, if you ultimately don't have a will to follow God, you will always find a reason that any piece of evidence laid before you is somehow not sufficient. Jesus says as much in the parable of a rich man who was in hell:
>27 “Then (the rich man) said, ‘I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father’s house, 28 for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.’ 29 Abraham said to him, ‘They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.’ 30 And he said, ‘No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’ 31 But he said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead.’ ”
I pray that you will have God revealed to you and that any blinders to His truth will be removed. Ultimately it comes down to whether you have the will to follow Christ and the faith to trust him where your own understanding is not always sufficient.
Anthony Wood

Brayden Ramirez
It's a rational conclusion. Literally decades of constant, nonstop Jew propaganda went into reassembling your merkwelt such that you by default reject the most obvious philosophic conclusion to the question of divinity.
I hear this repeated constantly. "I just couldn't bring myself to believe in God," this is literally a line from Eragon, a child's novel written by a child. It's meant to inflate your own opinion of yourself. The reality is quite different. You didn't try. You didn't give the idea any due diligence and you blindly accepted the word of Jews and your own ultra-consumerist society when they freed you from your duties to yourself and to God and your humanity by telling you that there was no dutymaster.
I actually did think about the question and the only logical conclusion to a universe in which order arises from chaos is that it was intentional. Perhaps not the Christian god--perhaps not any god whose name we know, but the suggestion that this is all coincidental, and that THAT is the simplest explanation and thus passes Occam's Razor, is laughable. It would be rightly laughed out of any public forum prior to the rise of Jewish power.
Austin Brown
>if you ultimately don't have a will to follow God, you will always find a reason that any piece of evidence laid before you is somehow not sufficient.
Many different religions and people have had different ideas as to what god is throughout history. There if no definitive proof yet as to what god is, or what religion is correct about their depiction of god. I will say that i'm willing to believe there is a god. But i require proof, and the burden of proof is on the one claiming THEIR god is the god that exists.
Thomas Gomez
Im giving you a chance to see past the illusion that satan has put up. You say you desire what is good and right, here is one of the last uncompromised churches left in the earth. The era you live in is called the great falling away, thus the churches are taken over and clown world is here.
There is preaching from a real man of God, take it or leave it. After you watch that one, if you come to your senses, here is how you go to heaven before this world is destroyed by God: youtu.be

Well I gave you a reference with a book thats probably over 500 pages long full of evidences and (what you may or may not consider) "proofs" for Christianity. It's divided into many sections and subsections so it is easy to pick out the parts you find most interesting also.
