You do realize that Poland does generally have lower wages in almost all sectors, right? Only in the Technological sector are you doing really well in competing with the West, in terms of wages.
A large part of Polish jobs are still rural, and will become more urbanized really soon in the future. With urban jobs, come higher wages, which brings a higher quality of life.
