I was an atheist until I experienced sleep paralysis for the first time.
For those of you who don’t know....
Sleep paralysis is when your mind wakes up, but your body does not- so you wake up paralyzed.
During this time, some people (like myself) begin to heavily hallucinate.
I began to hallucinate a demon. It was a woman who was using a fully grown man as a puppet to speak to me.
It went on for about 5 minutes until I thought in my mind “please Jesus Christ save me please”
And the hallucinations fully stopped, and I was no longer paralyzed.
At that moment, I became a Christian- and I have never doubted the existence of a higher power ever again. I have had more encounters with these demons, sleep paralysis is common for me- and every time, Jesus has saved me.
What I’m trying to say is that I was fully an atheist before these events took place. I never experienced a spiritual encounter before then.
I hope one day atheists can encounter what I have been through so they’d understand.

Christ still has his moral teachings. If you accept him as your savior, you are in effect accepting what he taught and will naturally be inclined to act like Christ. A man doesn't have to be perfect following Christ, in fact he cant be perfect.

A man who genuinely believes in Christ and his teachings will genuinely want to do good works.
What is most important, is his genuine acceptance of Jesus as his savior. Without this, even the smallest lie makes you unable to enter heaven, regardless of your works.

You are only half-correct. Only the baptized can enter Heaven, through the eternal merits of the Lord Jesus Christ. However, those who are baptized can still be lost through mortal sin; "sin unto death" which destroys the state of Grace within the soul. Denying that Jesus is the Savior is a mortal sin and thus severs the state of Grace that is imparted upon one with baptism.

The complete opposite exists. I was raised in a family where my mother and father both "believed in Christ's teachings" but denied that Christianity was a valid religion. They still believed in a god, just not the Christian god.
