We could see that happen to some extent. The EU don't seem to happy about Catalonia. The UK has already divided it's self up to some extent to. The degree who he seems to suggest seems too much though. There's not enough regional identity

It's a vicious circle, the more people feel powerless because of remote decision-making the less incentive there is to invest yourself in the community the faster regional identity is diluted.

I don't really think this will happen anytime soon or that it will really happen though but this is a model that would really fit Europe, ever since we got strong centralized states it only went downside for the continent.

non-europeans should not be allowed to be a demographic threat. it is normal, any ethnic group thinks others may not be demographic threats to them. when it comes to culture, european cultures should be the leading cultures in europe. europeans should dominate ethnically and culturally.

Issue with IDs is that quality of their groups vary to the extreme degree. Some are totally based in the best way possible and some are basically groups of cucked civnat sóybois. No centralized leadership can be great, but in this case it is hurting the whole thing.

Also *some* of their most prominent people use the movement just as a jumping pad to get that comfy chair in politics. Not good and should be dealt with.
