It was only 1% in Clinton's favor. Now that Trump is an incumbent I'd say he has a great shot to win Minnesota. The state has changed a lot over the years, so has the democratic party.

It's almost guaranteed. Clinton only carried it with 1.5% and a lot of McMuffin and Johnson voters will be coming home to the Republicans in 2020. I'd say Trump definitely flips Minnesota and New Hampshire, maybe Nevada

Let me remind you that Trump didn't even win the primary in Minnesota. He doesn't stand a chance here. Anecdotal evidence may not count for anything but based on what I've seen here Trump's chances will only worsen. I know several people who voted for him and have since regretted their decision.

I assume you don't live in either state. Minnesota is doing better by almost every conceivable measure. The education system in Wisconsin is failing, their economy is doing poorly, they're doing terribly - this is common knowledge to anyone from Minnesota or Wisconsin. I've spent my entire life in these states. I love Wisconsin but it makes me sad to see it in such rough shape these days. You can twist the facts all you want to keep your narrative intact - that's what I used to do - though the fact remains that Minnesota, a blue state, is doing far better than Wisconsin, a red state.

It depends on who the Democrats nominate but I think he has a great chance of winning. I'm okay with him as president. I just want Minnesota to remain blue locally so our institutions don't fail from underfunding. Life is good right now in Minnesota.

Yes. I'm with the Republicans in that I think more power should be given to the states. I don't want some giant Democratic federal bureaucracy that squanders all our money away. But for one reason or another Democratic policies seem to work well in Minnesota. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
