The number one reason why i dont believe that the holocaust happened they way (((they))) say it happened is because the death toll numbers dont add up with the number of jews before and after the war.

And then i have big list of other stuff that adds up to this. But this my main reason.

I’m actually new to using this forum. So just genuinely curious to see what people think.

Better question is what were the Jews doing that made the Germans put them in camps in the first place?

We can discuss, question, and argue about any and every historical event, except for one. The Fall of the Roman Empire, the origins of the Thirty Years War, the American Civil War, the Napoleonic Wars. Even whether British rule of Ireland was a good thing or not.

Yet, there is one subject that, if you deviate or question in the slightest from "accepted" history, you can find yourself jailed, fined, or both in many European countries. Fortunately, the US is not one of these, yet. If you read these laws, you will find that truth is not even a defense you can invoke. Yes, you can literally go to jail for telling the truth.

So I ask you, does truth need laws to protect it?

I personally believe in freedom of speech. If society is organised correctly free speech would regulate itself without the need for laws.

That's a dodge. This really has nothing to do with the broader concept of free speech.

We're talking about one specific subject you're not allowed to question or dispute. The question is why just that one subject. These laws were put in place starting in the 80's and 90's. What was the interest in declaring an entire subject off-limits. If it were indisputable, there would be no need for these laws. Therefore, the only reason these laws exist was because there is something on the subject that can be disputed. In other words, suppressing the truth.

In WW II it isn't anything if it didn't make it over a million deaths. I think it happened but it is nothing compared to how many Russians died.

I don't think people were murdered, especially not by poison gas.

If people died it was due to disease or a lack of food in war torn Germany.

I've never heard of any scientific evidence that people were murdered in the Holocaust. Seems like it'd be easy to produce an autopsy report showing that people died from poison gas.

I don't know if anybody has taken a hard look at Soviet claims on their numbers killed. Since a lot of the Holohoax claims originated from the Soviets, it stands to reason that they also exaggerated their own losses, particularly civilians.

Nobody says it didn't happen, it's just not what people say it is and the death tolls are greatly exaggerated. Just do the math it should be ~2 Jews/min nonstop AKA mathematically impossible

Aside from all the highly technical evidence, these are the basics, and there's a couple problems here.
If the goal was to exterminate them, why were they clothed, fed, and kept alive? Why not just shoot them and throw them into a pit the moment they arrived? Even if there was some logical reason for not shooting them the second they stepped off the trains, there isn't any for giving them clothing or for feeding them or even taking the time to build housing for them. The Nazis could have just as easily thrown them into a giant fenced area instead of giving them living quarters. Obviously jews starving or freezing to death before they get gassed to death would be of no concern as it would be all the same end... Death.
No, the Nazis were actively feeding, clothing and housing the Jews in the "death camps" instead of, you know, killing them. If the Nazis were desperately trying to exterminate every jew they found, there wouldn't be any survivors of the "death camps", especially since the Nazis would have simply started shooting the remaining jews at the last moment, which is much easier and cheaper than building elaborate gassing systems.

Very well. How I went down the rabbit hole started when I tried to track down the original source of the "six million" number. I found that this figure pre-dates the events, sometimes by decades. One interesting thing was the figure was used by Soviet propagandist Ilya Ehrenberg before Auschwitz was captured by the Soviets. Another was that it shows up in a 1943 book by American screenwriter Ben Hecht.

Let me compare "facts" as they existed in 1945 and now. This comes from "official" or "accepted" sources.

1945: Bergen-Belsen and Buchenwald had gas chambers.
2018: Bergen-Belsen and Buchenwald did not have gas chambers.

1945: Four million killed at Auschwitz.
2018: One million, maybe a million and a half killed at Auschwitz

1945: Two million killed at Majdanek
2018: 78,000 killed at Majdanek

1945: Mattresses stuffed with Jewish hair
2018: Uhh... never mind.

1945: Soap made from Jews
2018: Uhh... never mind

1945: Lampshades made from Jewish skin
2018: Uhh... never mind

1945: Muh six million
2018: Muh six million
