Did I commit a crime

>be union employee
>new job opening on assemby line
>me and other guy put in for it
>other guy has way more time and is assured to get it
>want job because its peaceful and solitary
>he wont budge. He really wants it too
>out of nowhere offer him 200 bucks so he'll say no and I'll get it
>works
>off hand ask the union rep about it
>says it was a fireable offense and anti-union
>might lose job

Should I talk to a lawyer? I dont think what we did was wrong. Who was the victim? I dont want to get fucking fired!

You fucked up user, just say it was a joke, that’s what I would do:

>unions
>ever

Youre better off user

Who cares? It's your word against his if the guy ever tries to rat you out.

Yeah what this guy said, or maybe give the guy 50-100 more bucks to corroborate with you and claim it never happend

>union employee

Yes, you committed a crime.

>he wont budge. He really wants it too
>concedes for $200
whats that like one day of work worth of money? either that guy didnt really want it or knew you would get fired and ends up with the job and your 200 dollars

Lol, keep digging that joke huh? It could work depending on the situation DESU

Or he's a union nigger who can't comprehend delayed gratification

>union
i'll stop u there

Hole*

Get a lawyer instead of asking Jow Forums for God's sake.

You are an asshole and yes you suck. I'm sure this isn't the first or last time you'll be an asshole. So go to law school it will be cheaper to deal with your own bullshit.

>a fool for a client

We are such barely evolved primates.

That guy actually moved on now. He works at a different company. I just mistakenly told the union rep because l thought it seemed pro union and a good system.
The union rep then pulled his fangs out and told me ld done wrong and he might have to report me.
Me and the original guy are actually friends now and hang out every so often.
I THOUGHT BEING UNION WAS A GOOD THING

never happened. thats your story.

btw, I thought unions were on your side, right?

Well the dude might obviously know hes lying but if he can keep a poker face in HR and the other dude agrees they cant really do anything

General rule is if you bribe someone you never tell anyone else

Offer the union rep 200 dollars.

I agree, I don’t know if the other guy is honest but if he is I’d go with that plan

youre a fucking retard i hope you get banned from the union

Unions are only used too fund the democrats.

Im in a right to work state.
Should l opt out now and have plausible reasoning that I was trying to get myself out of a position where a union rep could nefariously get my fired?

are you really samefaging this hard?

>Should I talk to a lawyer?
No you idiot, just give the union rep $500

>t. Shlomo Shekelstein

It seems so stupid to consider this bribery. I just moved up in line because l wanted to have the job more. It would be bribery if I moved over someone else to get first in line over someone else.
Which seniority doesnt allow.
There was no victim in this entire situation.

Unions suck nowadays. They were needed back when no employee protection laws were in place. Now, public unions just get in the way.

kek

Not a crime. But you work for a union they make the rules. Just find another better job, there are millions of openings right now. Best time to go out and try to make more money.

you should kill ur self for joining a racket- I mean union

Kek

Either pay off the union head, say it was a joke or have the guy you tried to bring say both of you were joking.

These are your options, stop being a fag.

How comes you're in a labour union if you don't have a job?

What seems weird to me is. We have a revolving list of who gets to go home or not everyday. Since we start the day with extra people.
So if someone doesnt want to go home they can auction off the opportunity to go home. Someone else on the team bids on it. Most money wins the opportunity. If no one pays, then it goes to the next person on the list.

So with that auctioning culture in place, it seemed fair to me. That between 2 people. The lower person offering funds to secure a position the first person has the dibs on is fine.
Turns it out it wasnt. Im fucked.

how much do people pay for that?

No there was a position opened up from some old fart dying. And only me and the other guy wanted it. We were both working. It was just a different, easier, part of the assembly.

>Bribes someone
>Tells basically a stasi that you bribed someone
GRUG GIVE GREEN PAPERS, GRUG SMART

The bidding usually starts at 10 bucks. Ive seen them go for 250 bucks on friday before someones holiday. Ive bought some myself for 40 bucks on average. So l can come home and shitpost

It's funny, under the table stuff like this happens in all the top positions in structures of power, and they get away with it--just part of the job.

You didn't do anything bad, you just made a stupid mistake--not high enough on the totem pole to get a pass on that user.

interesting. what union do you work for?

Isnt bribery from a position of power? If l gave my supervisor money to get the job. Thatd be wrong. But l made a fair trade between someone and got what l wanted.
He then went on to still have the same shit position l had before.
It was a good deal and l dont get how its wrong even in the union.

The UAW in a southern assembly plant

Nigga, you bribed someone and unions are commies. Paying someone to do something like that is a no-no according to commie logic. The fuck are you trying to find excuses for fucking shit up?

Remember, all unions are commies and you shall act like one. "Me dindu me not know anything" - this is your approach. You shouldn't even think about talking about your personal life or anything that differs from leftist point of view.

Thats a fine idea. Im gonna opt out of the union though. So l can claim the union leader is lying about me if he ever reports me. So I can save some money from now until my now risked termination. While also having some faked reasoning for leaving to cover my ass.

user tell them that was donation for an unrelated matter. Then get a lawyer to be on standy-by for that. If you can afford 200 bucks for the position, you can afford a retainer fee.

Stick to the story is key. You must believe the tale first.

bruh

>not self bumping with insidious comments that attack even yourself to start a conversation on the million posts a minute Jow Forums

niggers read the thread and sage, he's samefagging
