Also there was a PR guy brought in paid to write a narrative of suffers from depression etc before the name was released so that the narrative would be out before people heard his name. Also the media had the anti gun narrative engine already running and ready to start the hysteria almost immediately. Like they had everything prepared ahead of time.
Now my points of concern are, Why wait so long to release the name, Why scrub his social media footprint and who coordinated paying and bringing in this PR guy. Also why are the liberal politicians denying any ISIS involvement so firmly? It is already out that the gun used was smuggled from the US and his brother was a high profile drug dealer.
I honestly think they ramped up the anti gun shit so hard so we would be too concerned with that to talk about the ISIS link and the fact the guy spent time in Pakistan and Afghanistan recently. this whole thing smells like shit.

Durham Regional Police executed a search warrant, finding 33 guns and other prohibited devices, such as overcapacity magazines, and seized 53 kilograms of a substance identified as the deadly street drug carfentanil (worth $20million and the largest bust of its kind in Canadian history). Ansari is charged with 337 firearm offences. He is out on bail and the matter is still before the courts.

Carfentanil is so potent it can easily be argued to be a chemical weapon. Last year, there were over 4000 deaths from opioid overdoses in Canada, many from junk spiked with synthetic opioids like carfentanil. In the US the count was closer to 60,000.

What guns you can own is pretty limited, but just getting "a gun" is pretty simple. I think we're second in legal gun ownership per capita, and fifth in gun ownership overall.

If you're legitimately interested in learning how deep Islamic influence runs in the West, read Catastrophic Failure: Blindfolding America in the Face of Jihad by Stephen Coughlin. Coughlin details pretty meticulously how the dawah/jihad system works (essentially, dawah is enacted to pull in as many people to Islam as possible, while jihad is used afterwards to get rid of anybody who didn't convert or submit to Islam). The book (it's a fairly big book) details how Islam works, how doctrine within the religion is decided/interpreted, how Muslims work towards goals set forth by their religion, how Muslims have infiltrated and subverted various governmental and international organizations, and how the US intelligence community has basically silenced itself from being able to do anything at all about it because of the "islamophobia" narrative.
Coughlin is well-known for his "red-pill" briefs regarding jihad that he used to give to military personnel before he left his intelligence analyst position (he was practically forced out of his position for his anti-Islam views). Here's the first part of a series of videos up on YouTube of one of his presentations. One of the big things he touches on early in this video is how, to Islam, human rights are always interpreted via sharia, and not through any western preconception. Effectively, this means that Muslims are not committing terrorism if they kill non-Muslims because sharia effectively allows for them to do so in the name of jihad.

Long story short, Omar Khadr, a Canadian citizen who went to Afganistan with his dad (who was basically a terrorist), was being held prisoner by the US as he was captured as an enemy combatant and held in Guantanamo for 10 years (he was captured after "allegedly" throwing a grenade and killing a US soldier while fighting with the Taliban). The Canadian government eventually took custody of Khadr, released him from prison, and paid him $10 million so that they didn't have to fight him in court (he was going to sue them for $20 million for human rights violations).
The case never went before the court. The government settled with him outside of court so that they didn't have to fight him in court. Why, you may ask? Basically because Trudeau didn't want to look like he hated Islam.

I read that the family who lost their 18 year old daughter is absolutely devastated. That is understandable, a mother and a father raise a child for 18 years, that child is a prat of their life; how can you lose such a fundamental part of your life and go on?
But at the same time, their child, and presumably the parents as well, have no actual concern about all the many Canadian families who will experience such similar and tragic losses, just because this child's family supports political policies where dangerous violent intolerant outsiders are welcomed into Canada, and the toll on the other Canadian families is of no concern to them.

I'm not saying it wasn't Harper's bungle too, because it was. This might sound facist, but Harper should have just ignored Khadr and let him rot in Gitmo (or better yet, arranged for him to be killer). It would have been easy to bury that crap, but Canada had to recognize Khadr as a fucking Canadian citizen and insist on sticking their noses into the issue.
I get that, in some sense, Trudeau's hands were tied, because Khadr did have a grounds to file a legitimate grievance with the government regarding his treatment. I'm not so sure that he would have been able to prove US/Canadian collusion in his treatment though, and I don't think it would have been difficult to argue that Khadr was indeed an enemy combatant (even if he was a minor) and that he was, in effect, guilty of terrorism.
It's telling that Khadr claims "no memory" of the initial battle and that he gamed the system to get back into Canada where he knew a sympathetic court system existed. He knew that a military court would never rule in his favour, but a civilian court would, especially a Canadian one.
